- Assume technical responsibility for electronic engineering and measurement technology
- Provide expertise in the design of innovative technical solutions in close collaboration with researchers
- Developing, building, testing and servicing prototypes and measuring devices (software and hardware) designed for research projects
- Participating in the development of our service by incorporating best practice in the field into our work
- Assuming responsibility for the measuring equipment fleet in order to guarantee the continuity of research activities
This makes you unique
- Swiss Federal Certificate of Proficiency (EFZ) -certified Electronics Technician or comparable training, together with further training as an Electrical Engineer and several years' professional experience
- Good knowledge of software and hardware development and of applied measurement techniques (sensor technology and data acquisition)
- An innovative individual who appreciates constantly evolving environments as well as exchanges with the research teams and internal and external partners
- High sense of responsibility, autonomy and creativity. Proven ability for teamwork, client-oriented with a precise and meticulous way of working
- Knowledge of two official Swiss languages and a very good command of written and spoken English

Agroscope's Infrastructure Division is responsible for the provision and maintenance of work infrastructure for the entire organisation. It offers a complete logistic support service for all units, ensures the maintenance and technical support of buildings, fleet management, and the provision of various support services. Its remit is to guarantee the maintenance and development of Agroscope's research capacity whilst ensuring the sustainable use of financial and environmental resources.
