- follow current technology developments in particular in the field of uncrewed- and autonomous systems, incl. artificial intelligence, machine learning and communication thereof
- conduct research, write reports on defense technology related subjects and work in a small dynamic team
- represent armasuisse at various events
- support the armasuisse Washington office in its wide variety of tasks with the US Goverment and other Nations
This makes you unique
- at least a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g. Science, Technology, Engineering (e.g. IT, electronics) and Mathematics) with a specific interest and experience in the field of technologies used for uncrewed and autonomous systems and its communication for defense application
- an ability to quickly grasp new concepts and orientate oneself in unfamiliar areas
- Swiss citizenship and personal security approval
- possess excellent written and spoken communication skills in English

As the central procurement unit of the Federal Administration we procure security-relevant systems as well as goods and are responsible for the technological and real estate management of the DDPS.
The Strategic Staff supports the National Armaments Director as well as top management. It is responsible for the strategic development of the enterprise, political business, international relations and communication.

Job entry September 1, 2025 limited until February, 2026. The remuneration for this position is USD 3,200 per month (gross salary).
